Carers thank League of Friends for donation

FORGET Me Not Care Ltd would like to thank the League of Friends of Westbury and District for their kind donation of £2,000 to go towards staff training.

During their penultimate meeting, remaining committee members of the League of Friends donated £98,000 to local health providers across Westbury and surrounding areas. Forget Me Not Care Ltd were given a donation of £2,000.

Karen Williams of Forget Me Not Care Ltd said, “I would like to thank the League of Friends of Westbury and District for a very kind donation towards our training and to say how much we have appreciated them over the last 12 years since setting up Forget Me Not Care Ltd, after being made redundant from Westbury Hospital.   

“This is a very sad time as the League of Friends have folded after 64 years of commitment to the people of Westbury and surrounding villages. I know I will miss them and many more besides; good luck to all the committee. I know how hard they all have worked over the years and I wish them all well.”
