Westbury racer looking for sponsors

WESTBURY racer, Josh Harvey, is looking for sponsors to join him and his team, Harvey’s Motorsport, to help him compete in the Castle Combe Hot Hatch Challenge.

Josh, who has always had a love for racing, first owned motorbikes and karts from the age of 10. He competed in karting championships at the age of 13 in Spain, where he achieved many wins and podium finishes.

Moving back to England, his thirst for speed continued and he began competing in Formula Ford at Castle Combe, before taking part in a national BMW compact cup series for a couple of seasons, with great success.

Now, from his family’s garage Harvey’s Auto-tech in Westbury, he has built and modified a race-winning K20 Civic EG that has seen success already this season including a lap record, pole position and a win.

Josh has a sponsorship space available on the side of the car for businesses who would like to work alongside a successful race team and family business.

Josh explained, “As of last year, I started racing in the Hot Hatch Challenge Cup which is all at Castle Combe, keeping it local and allowing us to stay open as usual at work.

“However, to try and stay competitive we are looking for new sponsors to join us and help out in any way; perhaps financially, or with tyres, parts or fuel. We have a Facebook page, ‘Harvey’s Motorsport’ where you can see live videos and updates from races and behind the scenes information at the track.”

If you are interested in sponsorship space or helping out the team, contact Josh at Harvey’s Auto-tech on 01373 822822 or via info@harveysautotech.co.uk
