Captain Dan Price scored two headers from Jamie Jordan set pieces and Jordan also set up the clinching goal late on to set up United’s title clinching game against Devizes Town.
Sutton were the better side in a nervy first half and Lewis Porter did well to save from Mason Dagger early on.
Price’s opening goal came on 14 minutes when he powerfully met Jordan’s flag kick, however the visitors quickly equalised just 3 minutes later when Sam Roberts scored a stunning 30 yarder. Such is their defensive strength with Price and Matt Jones flanked by Leon Greenland and Steve Hulbert, United seem to only concede world class goals or penalties this year.
In the minutes leading up to half time the hosts began to look more like a title chasing team; Josh Ferguson broke through and forced keeper Adam Young to do well in a one-on-one situation then Young brilliantly tipped Dan Kovacs’ strike over the bar.
Westbury played superbly after the break but the first chance went to the Bishops, with Porter saving from Chris Hind.
Ferguson nearly made the difference as his constant pacy, skilful runs set the visitors onto the back foot and he went close on three occasions.
Price put his side back in front with another header from a Jordan free kick on 56 and from then on, it was one way traffic.
Sutton managed to just about keep United at bay but a 3rd goal seemed inevitable.
Ferguson and Jake Hiscocks combined to set up Ricky Hulbert, and Young saved well again, but Jordan’s resulting corner led to Ferguson completing the scoring with a fine half volley with 10 minutes remaining.
