From barn-chapels in the side street to churches in the Market Place

WESTBURY Area Family History Group will welcome Graham Warmington for a talk on Thursday 22nd February at The Methodist Church.

The talk is titled ‘From barn-chapels in the side street to churches in the market place’. Graham will give an overview of English Nonconformity from the dissenters of the 17th century to the Free Churches of the 20th Century and their records and documents.

The Westbury Area Family History Group meets every fourth Thursday of the month at 7.15pm in the foyer of Westbury’s Methodist Church. The branch has regular interesting and informative talks and discussions by members and guest speakers, on all aspects of family history and general history.
