Starting this month Providence Baptist Church will be holding a series of monthly meetings at Fairfield Opportunity Farm Cafe, exploring how the Christian faith relates to everyday life.
The first one will take place on Tuesday 26th April, 7.30-8.30pm.
Pastor Guy Davies said, “One of our church members, Andrew Stone has loved gardening for almost 40 years and has worked at Barters Farm Nurseries in Chapmanslade for the last 25.
“He will be demonstrating his enthusiasm for plants as he offers simple ideas on how to make the most of our gardens – especially in modern plots where space is at a premium. His first house in Westbury was a maisonette in the High Street and all his plants had to be in pots, so he will be speaking from his own experiences.
“As a Christian, he will also be sharing something of his faith and his love for God’s wonderful creation as he works with a rich variety of plants.”
