Mayor’s Charity Auction Night raises over £1,000

A CHARITY auction organised by the mayor and mayoress of Westbury has raised £1,270.10 for local charities.

Over 90 people attended the Mayor’s Charity Auction night on 23rd October. Cllr David Bradshaw and his wife Myra donated the £1,270.10 the money raised to the mayor’s nominated charities, Cross Point and The Welfare of the Elderly.

Cllr Bradshaw said, “Thank you to the many local organisations and businesses that very kindly donated prizes to the auction. Thanks also to Sean Price who kindly conducted the auction. Without the generosity of everyone who helped, the event would have not been possible.”
