Westbury Art Group welcome special guest

Westbury Mayor, cllr David Bradshaw recently posed for the Westbury Art Group in the first formal portrait of the new robes.

Alex Prowse, a member of the group and retired teacher from the Hampsted School of Art said, “It is never easy to produce a likeness from a model, however studying the figure in this way really improves an artist’s capability.

“David has agreed to further sittings and the final paintings will be available to view at one of the exhibits that Westbury Art Group regularly host.”
