Winning ways at Westbury Golf Club

WESTBURY Golf Club Ladies’ Section have been busy recently with their Captain’s Competition, midweek medal and Greensomes Competition.

The Captain’s Competition at Rushmore Golf Club on Wednesday 10th June was won by Gill Sawyer, followed by Maureen Heard, and with Carol Barton in third.

Club secretary Fiona Belson said, “We were made very welcome and a good day was had by our members.”

The following midweek medal was won by Thursday’s midweek medal was won by Gill Sawyer and Fiona Belson was runner-up.

Saturday 20th June’s Greensomes Competition was won by Maureen Heard and her partner  Carol Barton, followed by Gill Sawyer and Fiona Belson as runner-up.
