Lots of choice at the Lions Book Shop

WHETHER you’re perched on a sun lounger or sat in the local park this summer, you will need a good book to get lost in and Westbury Lions Book Shop is sure to have something for you.

The shop is run by managers Helen and Bill Braid and all the books are kindly donated by the public.

President of the Lions Club, Nigel Coward is proud of what the book shop has to offer the community. He said, “Aside from being a place to get quality books cheaply, it’s a place where people can find out more about the Lions Club. Plus, the money raised goes towards helping local causes.

“With over 7,000 books, there really is something for everyone and with the children’s books being free, mums and dads don’t have to worry about buying books for their children’s summer reading.”

The book shop is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am-1pm and is situated on the Warminster Road.
