Erlestoke Golf Club has raised over £2,000 for charity by holding various fundraising events throughout the year.
The annual captains’ day, which is organised by the three club captains, this year raised money for Dorothy House and Unicef. The captain of the men’s club, Michael Dolan said, “We try and raise money for different charities every year, normally a local and a national charity.
“We organised various events this year but the main event was the Captains Charity Day. Sixty people took part in the golf day and we had sponsorship and fundraising on the day.
“It was a very successful day and a lot of fun. We are so pleased with the amount of money we raised.”
