Westbury Bridge Club would like to invite you to an open morning on Tuesday 9th June.
Sue Taylor, on behalf of the club reported, “It was a very modest group of eight people that started the club back in 2012, but we have been growing steadily since then. We now average 20/24 people every week (five/six tables).
“We are not a competitive club playing duplicate bridge, our focus is social bridge playing. Diana Mansell is our guide and mentor and although her focus is to support the ‘beginners’, she is happy to advise anyone who has a query.
“The open morning is an opportunity for anyone to come along and see what the game of bridge is all about without any pressure to join in. Come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and the very friendly atmosphere.
“Whether you already play bridge or would like to learn how to play we would love to see you. There’s no charge for you to come along to have a chat and see what we do. If you can’t make it on the 9th then just visit any other Tuesday morning.
“We meet in Westbury Leigh Community Hall from 10.15am to 12.30pm.”
