POPULAR Elvis Presley tribute artist, Lee Memphis King, will be returning to Frome this month with a performance of theatre production ‘One Night of Elvis’.
‘One Night of Elvis’ celebrates the career of the musical legend, and will be coming to Frome’s Memorial Theatre on Saturday 13th June at 7.30pm.
Jill Schoonjans, publicist for the show said, “Lee has performed at the Memorial Theatre in Frome annually for the last three years; always to a packed house and always extremely well received.
“It’s actually one of the few smaller venues he performs at as his tour takes in all of the major venues in the UK – including venues such as the Bristol Hippodrome.
“This spectacular show begins with an authentic recreation of the legendary ’68 Comeback Special, featuring the famous ‘sit down’ section, progressing through to a rousing expo of Elvis’s years performing in Vegas.
“Lee brings the majesty of the voice and the electrifying power of Elvis’s performance back to life.
“Accompanied throughout by his world class orchestra and backing singers, along with large screen projection, this is the biggest Elvis show to tour UK theatres.”
Over the last 10 years as Lee has toured his ‘One Night of Elvis’ he has picked up numerous accolades and has headlined and sold out some of the most prestigious venues across the UK and Europe. A major European tour, premiering in Paris, is currently in production for 2016.
2015’s brand new production covers the legendary ’68 Comeback Special and the epic Vegas years. Featuring new songs and stunning costumes, ‘One Night of Elvis’ remains the most authentic and most popular Elvis Presley productions around.
Prepare to be enthralled by this musical journey and spend one night with Elvis.
