Westbury’s Cygnets Pre-school, adjacent to Westbury Leigh Primary School, is celebrating after being graded ‘Outstanding’ in their recent Ofsted inspection.
The inspector found that, “Staff know the children exceptionally well” and “Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment where children are settled and happy.”
The report said, “The inspirational manager and her deputy are highly effective in leading the dedicated staff team to achieve exceptional standards.”
The inspector also found that, “Excellent communication between the pre-school, parents, other agencies and early years settings highly contribute to the meeting of children’s needs.”
The manager, Alison Pratt said, “We are all absolutely thrilled to have received such a fantastic report. It’s great to see that the hard work of the whole team has been recognised by Ofsted.”
The committee chairperson, Shirley Needham said, “The committee are really proud of this achievement knowing how much hard work and commitment all the staff deliver on a daily basis.”
