‘Wear It Beat It’ day raises over £150 at Bitham Brook

Children at Bitham Brook Primary School  dressed in red to raise £152 for the British Heart Foundation earlier this month.

The children wore red to school on Friday 6th February to raise funds for The British Heart Foundation’s Wear It Beat It campaign.  The school chose to support this cause after a pupil underwent a heart transplant a couple of years ago.

Headteacher Mr Ross said, “It was great to see so many children and staff wearing red for the day! I am so pleased that the school was able to raise awareness of the work of the British Heart Foundation and contribute £152.55 towards their lifesaving research.”
