LOCALpole fitness club Pole-Da-Cise recently raised over £4,500 for Splitz Support Service at its annual Charity Cabaret at the White Horse Country Park.

Pole-Da-Cise, which has studios in Westbury and Melksham, held the event on Saturday 11th October. There were performances from a number of classes, including the under 12s’  ‘All of a Spin’, Acro Balance kids’ club, teen pole fitness, and the adult Pole-Da-Cise. Displays included gymnastic pole fitness, dance routines, and belly dancing.  Pole instructor Lisa Henderson said, “I’d   like to congratulate the whole team and all members on yet another fantastic show! The venue at the country park was packed once again.

“Over the last nine years this annual event has raised thousands of pounds for local charities across the south-west, with the help of local businesses providing raffle prizes and sponsorship. The team at Pole-Da-Cise and its members from Westbury and Melksham are extremely proud of what they achieve, and we are also  proud of them for raising so much money for such a worthy cause.”

So far a total of £4541 has been raised and will be donated to Trowbridge-based Splitz Support Services, a charity offering help to people with problems related to separation, divorce, or domestic abuse.

Pole-Da-Cise offers a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. Find out more at www.pole-da-cise.com.
