A new headteacher has started at Westbury Infant School taking over from Jan Ball who left before Easter. Mother-of-three Stacey Budge has twenty years’ experience teaching children from reception class to year two.

Stacey Budge, who was previously deputy headteacher of a large infants’ school in Devon said, “I’m really enjoying working at Westbury Infant School. It is a very happy school with happy pupils and staff.

“We are starting a new national curriculum which is an exciting opportunity for the children. I am keen for every child to do the best that they can and reach their potential, whilst also having fun.

“I am still learning to find my way around Westbury but it is a nice town with a great community feel.”
