PUPILS at Matravers School will soon be seen with green fingers thanks to funding from Westbury Area Board.
The area board agreed to fund an outside learning area for the school which will help create allotments, outdoor sheds and shelters and to purchase tools.
The board has agreed to provide £5,000 and as well as being of benefit to the school pupils, aims to involve the community as well.
Outdoor learning is also on the cards for pupils at Westbury Junior School where a spiritual garden and outdoor classroom is planned.
The school had raised £3,000 towards the project and the area board agreed to add £4,500 to enable it to go ahead.
Westbury Area Board can help with funding for a variety of community projects.
