Imperial Charity’s New Year Party in Westbury

ANEW Year party, organised by locally based Imperial Charity, is in its 18th year, and will be taking place on Sunday 19th January.

Imperial Charity is committed to helping children and adults with special needs and local senior citizens improve their quality of life.

The party is always held on the third Sunday afternoon in January each year and the organisers say, “There is a grand buffet and a superb cabaret, and it is always free to senior citizens and people with special needs.”

Previously, the party was held at the Warminster Assembly Rooms, but in 2008 the party moved to the Paragon Hall in Westbury when the charity moved its offices and opened two charity shops in the town.

This year’s party will be held at the Paragon Hall, Haynes Road, Westbury, between 2.30pm and 5.00pm. Admission is by ticket only, available from Westbury’s Imperial Charity shop in Warminster Road or in Warminster at the Tourist Information Centre. Further details are available on 01373 826826.
