The Westbury Swimming Pool & Laverton mugs
WESTBURY Town Council would like to thank everyone who joined in the anniversary celebrations of the Swimming Pool and The Laverton.
The exhibition was well supported, with over 500 visitors throughout the week.
The town council says, “We would like to thank the High Street shops that took part in the Victorian Window Dressing Competition. It was a very hard decision to make as they all looked amazing.
“Deputy Mayor cllr Mrs Christine Mitchell had the onerous task of choosing a winner and she has chosen ‘Andreas Flower Shop’, who will receive a £25 voucher.
“We still have some commissioned limited edition mugs available to purchase for £5 each.
“We had 125 mugs made for the swimming pool anniversary and 140 for the Laverton anniversary and these are all individually numbered.
“The mugs are available from Westbury Town Council and The Heritage Centre.”
