Positive start for new market
WESTBURY’S new weekend market, which was opened by Mayor of Westbury cllr Sue Ezra, has been heralded as a success.

Organiser Laurence Williams said that although there had been a smaller number of traders than they might have liked, those that did come reported healthy profits and had booked their spots for following markets. And he has high hopes that the market would go from strength to strength as word spread about it.

Issue 439 – Giant market to open on trading estate
WESTBURY’S new weekly market is to be launched with a charity fun day on Saturday 18th July.
Displays from the army and emergency services, alongside bouncy castles and children’s entertainment will herald the opening of what market organisers Northacre Trading Co. are hoping will rival the likes of Standerwick Market near Frome.
