New estate agency moves in and is looking to help the community

Story posted on

NEW residential sales and lettings agency, Daykin Estates, has not long moved into the area, but is already off to a flying start.

“We have been in business for a little over eight weeks now, selling houses in an average time of 4.5 days is a small part of the successes we have had,” said a spokesperson for Daykin Estates.

“We are a family run business with a combined amount of 20 years’ experience in sales and lettings, giving a personalised approach.

“We have a modern approach and therefore have opted out of having that ‘high street presence’ allowing us to be all under one roof, based on the West Wilts Trading Estate, central to the areas we cover.”

The family run business is also giving back to the community, and as well fundraising for local charities and causes, Daykin Estates is asking for nominations of people and families they can help during the festive season.

A spokesperson explains, “Giving back to the local community is one of the most important aspects of our work, it isn’t all about selling houses! We believe giving back to the community that we work in is as important which is why we are getting involved with many different businesses and charities.

“We have been working alongside Alzheimer’s Support to help fundraise and support them, most of our team have decided to take part in a skydive next year to help raise funds!

“We are sponsoring local schools and community centres and have just launched our own Christmas campaign called ‘The Heart of Christmas’.

“We have all seen how the pandemic has affected people throughout the last couple of years and therefore we thought it was an appropriate time to give back to the local community.

“Through ‘The Heart Of Christmas’ campaign, we endeavour to do things for families/individuals who have been nominated.”

To nominate we are asking people to email xmas@daykinestates.co.uk

As the demand for booster jabs increases more volunteers are needed to act as stewards the vaccination centre at Shaunaks in Westbury Leigh. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 8am till 1pm and 1pm till 6pm. If Daykins, or any other local employer, are able to cover one shift per week, their contribution would be much appreciated
