What’s on at the Jubilee Hall

Story posted on

THERE are lots of things booked at The Jubilee Hall in Bratton over the next few weeks.

The Jubilee Hall reports, “The next Supper Night will be on Friday 21st February. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a three-course meal plus tea or coffee for the maximum price of £8.50 in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Start time 6.30pm and last meals served at 8.00pm.

“Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) is on 25th February this year. The Jubilee Hall management committee is thinking of organizing something to do with pancakes for the children in the afternoon and maybe a pancake tea afterwards. Please keep an eye on the Jubilee Hall’s Facebook page for more information.

“The Jubilee Hall AGM will be held on 17th March  at 7.30pm, everyone is welcome to come and hear about the successes of the past year, maybe gain an insight into some of the things in plan for this year and also to oversee the election of the new committee.

“The current committee is a small but dedicated band of people who care passionately about the Jubilee Hall and its role as a community hub for the village.

“If you also feel that the hall is an essential asset to the village and would like to help to keep it in good condition for future generations you can put your name up for election to the new committee on the night, new people with new ideas are always welcome.

“If you would like to help but are not keen on being on the committee, we will be looking to create a pool of helpers that we can call on when needed for events or maintenance work, so please come along and give your contact details on the night.

“If you can’t come on the night but want to help on an ad hoc basis please phone Ken Davis on 07792 533357 and give him your details. Everyone who comes to the AGM is invited to stay on afterwards and enjoy cheese and wine and a chat.”
