Story posted on

On Sunday 10th November, the Bratton Branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding its annual Remembrance Service at St James’ Church at 09.30 hrs, followed by the wreath laying ceremony at the village war memorial from 10.45 hrs.

The Bratton Band will be playing at both events.

On Monday 11th November beginning at 1045 hrs there will be an Armistice Day short Act of Remembrance at the village war memorial.  All are very welcome at both occasions to remember the members of our armed forces who died in the line of duty and in particular ‘the fallen from Bratton. ‘

As in previous years, there will be a giant poppy on Picquet Hill overlooking the village, where it will remain until 12th November.
