Imperial Charity Coach Trip to Weymouth

Story posted on

The trip advertised this week to Abergavenny Market will be the third in the current season of trips by Imperial Charity; next up are trips to Weymouth, Poole and Stratford-on-Avon.

The first two trips this year, to Oxford and Kingston-upon-Thames were very successful as usual, according to Bob Summerfield, the charity business manager. Bob is keen to stress that to avoid disappointment, people should get their tickets as early as possible once they are released.

The dates for all forthcoming trips can be found on the charity’s new website which has just gone live.  “We would like to encourage people to use the website, not only because we are very proud of it, but because it contains a lot of very useful information and will be kept up-to-date with news, forthcoming events and items for sale,” added Bob.

“We have managed to keep the price of tickets to £7.50 but of course people with special needs and their carers go free. There will be no pre-booking of tickets, so everyone gets the same opportunity of getting one.”

A leaflet showing all dates and destinations of forthcoming trips is available now from the charity’s shops in Westbury and the Warminster Hub

25 July – Weymouth – everybody’s favourite. Jurassic skyline,      revolving tower. Cross the causeway to Portland Island.
