CYCLIST, Tracie Kett, completed a 100-mile cycle challenge, raising over £2,000 for RUH Breast Unit after a very close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year.

On Saturday 8th June, Tracie cycled 104 miles on a route starting in Trowbridge, cycling through Melksham, Devizes, Pewsey, Hungerford, Stoke, Andover, Ludgershall and finishing back in Trowbridge.

Tracie said, “I felt I had to help in some way, hence why I took on this challenge. It was a very successful 104 miles. Even though it was very windy, the rain kept away. We dug deep and achieved the ride in seven-and-a-half hours.

“I would like to thank my support team Nick Hannan, Helen Brett-Reynolds, Matthew Brett, Grahame Hale, Lisa McKeaveney, Mike McKeaveney, Al Tomala and Lisa Read.

“A total of £2,078 has been raised so I would like to say a massive thank you to all that donated. RUH Breast Unit could not be more appreciative.”
