FAIRFIELD Farm College saw its first Halloween trail on the farm over October half-term, which was a huge success.

Over 200 children took part in the trail, showing off their spooktacular Halloween outfits.

Debbie Hughes, marketing and charity fundraising manager said, “The children loved following the clues around the play area and animal walk, to find the Halloween word.

“The café was a hive of activity with plenty of cakes, refreshments and lunches being served, and the children enjoyed exploring our play area and keeping warm, riding on our ride-on toys.  We also had a fantastic Halloween cake, made and donated by Ali Wilton of Occasional Cakes which was raffled in the shop.

“We were really pleased with the fantastic support from the community and hope that everyone enjoyed their visit.  The feedback has been positive and we are already making plans for next year’s trail.”
