Story posted on

LOCAL a capella choir, Sounding It Out will be holding its annual festive concert at Edington Priory on Saturday 8th December at 7.30pm.

The choir, who draw singers from across Wiltshire and Somerset said, “Our programme stretches from ancient tunes to carols old and new, including a few well-known carols that you’ll be more than welcome to sing along with us.

“ There will also be a variety of goodwill songs from around the globe, all delivered with joy and verve; a warm and wonderful way to start the celebration of Christmas, in such a glorious setting.

“Sounding It Out raises funds for a charity for each year. This year our chosen charity is Papyrus – a charity working with young people at risk of taking their own life.  It provides individual confidential support and advice, as well as training across the community.  Their website is www.papyrus-uk.org.”

Tickets are available in advance via contact@ soundingitout.co.uk or on the evening at the door.  Ticket prices are £8 and £2 for under 16s.
