DILTON Marsh schoolgirl, Shannon Pierce, is taking part in a sponsored silence on Tuesday 27th March to help raise money for Fairfield Farm College’s new indoor horse arena project.

Shannon said, “I want to do a sponsored silence because my dad’s company recently sponsored Fairfield Farm College in the Santa Dash, so he inspired me to do something as well. I decided on doing a sponsored silence as I’m a bit of a chatterbox!

“I am being silent during school hours on the 27th March. If you want to sponsor me, go to Fairfield Farm College because the sponsor forms will be there. Also, on Monday 26th March, there will be sponsor forms during their Easter egg hunt.

“I am helping to raise money for the new horse area that the college are wanting to build.”

Debbie Hughes at Fairfield Farm College said, “Sponsorship forms will be displayed in Fairfield Farm café on the fundraising notice board, so pop in and show your support for Shannon.

“We have also set up a Just Giving Page for Shannon, so you can donate via this too via https://www. justgiving.com/fundraising /fairfield-farm-trust1

“Good Luck Shannon!”
