KINGFISHER Pre-School has been learning about those who are less fortunate than themselves  and then collected food donations for the Westbury-based charity Crosspoint.

Tracy Raymond, nursery manager said, “YMCA Kingfisher Pre-School believe that personal, social and emotional skills are very important, so we have been talking to the children about those who are less fortunate and think it’s very important to help people in the community.

“The children have been collecting food donations to give to Crosspoint, so they can give them to those who are in need.”

One of the children at the pre-school said, “We collected food because some people don’t have food or as much money as us.”

YMCA Kingfisher Pre-School is open from 8.30am-3.30pm. For more information about the pre-school contact Tracy Raymond on 07803 548406.
