Residents of Lakeside View and local councillors recently held a litter pick around the estate.

The event was organised by residents’ association chair, Tamas Kiss, and Wiltshire councillor David Jenkins arranged the required bags, gloves and pick sticks.

Also helping on the day was town councillor Ward Jones who commented, “It was really encouraging to see residents taking responsibility for the appearance of their locality. Within an hour we collected two lorry tyres, a wheelbarrow tyre, two scooters without front wheels and 11 bags of rubbish!”
