Coming up at the Memorial

THE Memorial Theatre lineup is jam-packed with music and entertainment for the coming weeks.

On Friday 10th November  – 7.30pm An Evening of Mediumship with Tony Stockwell. The popular star of TV’s Street Psychic, Private Psychic Eyes and 6ixth Sense, Tony Stockwell demonstrates his belief that those who have passed can communicate with their loved ones, all delivered with emotion, sensitivity and empathy. Remarkably compelling, amazingly detailed and always humorous. We hope that nobody can fail to come away untouched by the experience.

On Saturday 18th November  – 7.30pm. Foster & Allen are bringing their 40th Anniversary Tour to the UK this autumn. Celebrating 40 years together in the music business they will be performing their hits including ‘Bunch of Thyme’, ‘Maggie’, ‘After All These Years’, ‘Old Flames’ as well as some of their recent recordings like ‘Gold & Silver Days’, ‘A Hug’ and songs from their “Celebration” CD.

Saturday 02 December  – 8.00pm  Rich Hall’s Hoedown. Rich Hall’s critically acclaimed new show begins its second leg of touring this September. There has never been a better time to be an American comedian in the UK; Hall’s precision dismantling of the tenuous relationship between two countries is as freewheeling and deadly accurate as ever.

His BBC Four documentaries, most recently Rich Hall’s Countrier Than You and Rich Hall’s Presidential Grudge Match, and BBC Radio 4 series Rich Hall’s (US Election) Breakdown, have built him a new legion of followers, as have appearances on Have I Got News For You and QI. But if you’ve only ever seen Hall on TV, you’ve short-changed yourself.

Friday 08 December – 7.30pm. One Night Of Queen – Gary Mullen & The Works. Since winning Stars in Their Eyes in 2000 with a record 864,838 votes, Gary Mullen has toured the world with his breathtaking One Night of Queen. His uncanny vocal resemblance to the late Freddie Mercury has enthralled hundreds of thousands of people throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand.

One Night of Queen, performed by Gary Mullen and The Works is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time. Featuring hits such as I Want to Break Free, A Kind of Magic, We Will Rock You and – of course – Bohemian Rhapsody.

2017 is One Night of Queen’s 15th anniversary.
