AN application to build 88 homes on land near Station Road in Westbury has been submitted to Wiltshire Council.

Persimmon Homes had previously been given planning permission on the site in 2016 for 102 houses, but the application lapsed.

The development will be on land which is currently derelict and is within the Westbury Ham community area boundary for Westbury.

The accommodation will be a mix of one and two bed apartments and two, three and four bed houses.

The planning application is open to comments from the public until Friday 29th September and Wiltshire Council’s target date for a decision is Tuesday 21st November.

You can register your comments on Wiltshire Council’s website under planning application 17/07548/FUL.
