Westbury Leigh has got a Lot of Talent!

Pupils, staff and visitors at Westbury Leigh Primary School were treated to an amazing array of performances recently as  pupils performed at the annual ‘Westbury Leigh’s Got Talent’ show.

Although it was a hot and sticky afternoon, the audience were enthralled by the brilliant singing, dancing and music on show. All of the performances were fabulous and received huge amounts of applause and support from their appreciative watchers.

One of the school’s governors, Mrs Horseman, was so impressed that she sent the following message to the school the next day, “I just wanted to say thanks for organising such a good show this afternoon.

“It all seemed to run like clockwork but I know from experience just how much behind the scenes work goes into these events in order to make them seem so effortless!  It was lovely to see the children performing so confidently and the year 6 children presenting so competently.  It was also great to see that most performers remembered to bow and acknowledge the audience.  All in that heat too!  A really enjoyable afternoon.”

The school adds, “Congratulations to Grace and Edison who finished in first and second place.”
