FOURmembers of staff at Forget Me Not Care in Westbury have celebrated 10 years of being with the company.

Carol Taylor, Sally Stockley and Sue Davis have been carers with the company for ten years while Helen Mead is the office administrator.

The women, who call themselves ‘the originals’ joined the company when it first started in 2006.

They said, “The 11 years have gone by so quickly and that shows how much we enjoy what we do. It’s been nice to see how the company has grown and developed because a lot has changed.

“For us, our main priority is keeping people in their homes and making sure they are safe and looked after. It’s a very rewarding job, although at times it is difficult, we’ve made friendships and get to know the people we care for and their families.”

Helen said, “I hear from the families of the people the ladies care for and the difference they are making to their lives. It’s nice to hear all the comments and   feeding them back to the ladies is definitely a nice part of the job.”

Owners of Forget Me Not Care, Selina Robinson and Karen Williams said, “We would both like to say a huge thank you to ‘the originals’ and to all our carers for their dedication and hard work over the last 10 years. With their help, we have been able to establish a successful business which helps many people.

“If you require help within your home, or seeking new employment as a carer, please ring the office on 01373 858333.”
