The next BA13+ Partnership meeting, which takes place on Thursday 18th May at 7pm at the Laverton in Westbury, will have a ‘Children and Young People’ theme.

Philip McMullen, BA13+ Community Area Partnership coordinator said, “In keeping with this, we are pleased to announce that the keynote presentation will be from TV presenter, international skateboard champion and the face of the ‘Animal’ sports brand, James Threlfall http://www.jamesthrelfall.co.uk – everyone is welcome to attend, especially young people of course.

“James will give us an informal, entertaining presentation which will enthuse the audience to invest in the young people of the Westbury area. People need to be made aware of all the good things that skateboarding can do for youngsters if and when they are given a fair chance. The fact is that it’s not just a passing fad, it can lead to so many good things.

“Please feel free to come along – free refreshments will be provided.”
