Volunteer at Westbury Library

This entry was posted on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 at 10:38 am.

WESTBURYLibrary is in search of new volunteers to help people use the service.

Volunteers help to provide a friendly welcome to all members of the public using the library.

Volunteers assist with shelving, support customers to use the self-issue machines and keep the library in a safe, tidy and attractive condition. They also help customers to locate books, talking books and DVDs, and refer those who require further information or support to local staff.

The role involves dealing with people of all ages, and an interest in books and reading is helpful. Volunteers will also need to be comfortable with using IT.

For more information about the library support volunteer role, contact Basil Nankivell at basil.nankivell@wiltshire.gov.uk or on 01373 822294.

Volunteer information packs and registration forms can also be picked up at the library. The deadline for returning completed forms is this Friday, 9th September.
