Westbury Junior School  has finished the school term on a high with their production of, What a Knight!

Victoria Withers, assistant head teacher, said, “The story was about a young squire who wants to be Knight but is kicked out of Knight school.  He eventually saves the kingdom from the Black Knight, finds Excalibur and is knighted by the king. The children in the drama club rehearsed for months to produce an all singing, all dancing spectacular show. Some of the performances deserve a special mention particularly that of Dan Jackson who played the young squire and Watt Cobblers and Annie Bell who played the wayward Princess Alice.

“The children performed to a packed audience of family and friends and enjoyed the whole experience.”

Drama teacher Miss Storr said, “It has been wonderful to watch the children grow in confidence as their characters on stage develop. We are already looking forward to our Christmas nativities!”
