PREPARATIONS for  Westbury’s Summer Celebration are well under way and organisers want you to get involved.

The popular biennial event which is organised by Westbury Town Council and local organisations will take place on Saturday 9th July throughout the town centre.

Events coordinator at Westbury Town Council Verity Bartlett said, “It is a very popular event in the town and people really look forward to it. It’s an excellent event and is always well attended.

“We are very busy organising and have a few new and exciting surprises, but we’re keeping them a secret until everything is confirmed. Of course we will have the traditional stalls and children’s entertainment throughout the day.

“Once again will hold the music concert in the evening and this year we will welcome the UK’s number one Madness tribute band, Complete Madness.”

Organisers are open to suggestions for further ideas for the Summer Celebration. Verity continued, “We are open to any suggestions people may have about the event; we want to hear from you.

“The event brings people together and despite being a relatively small market town, we have brilliant community spirit. Let’s make the Summer Celebration something Westbury can be proud of.”

If you would like to have a stall at the event, booking forms are now available at Westbury Town Council. For further information please call Verity Bartlett on 01373 822232/07754 193592 or email verity.bartlett@westburytowncouncil.gov.uk
